"Resource for the Innovation of Engineered Materials" in Collaboration with CanmetMATERIALS
The objective of this project is to develop a mechanistic understanding on how the Fe/Ni/Cr ratio for different alloys influences the mechanical properties and corrosion behaviour .The results will provide a technical basis for selecting a certain alloy with suitable corrosion resistance, and mechanical and metallurgical properties for specific applications.
"Industrial Research Chairs” in Collaboration with AECL
I am performing thermal stress analysis for Alloy 600, 800 and X750 which are used in steam
generator and annulus spacer between the pressure and calandria tubes in CANDU nuclear
power plant. I am also conducting corrosion test for Alloy 600 at elvated tempertures.

"The Canadian National Program on Generation IV Energy Technologies" in Collaboration with AECL
My role in this project is to desgin an autoclave that stand the supercritical water condition (high T/P conditions) and also to designe a hanger for metal coupons incorporated in the autoclave. I designed both in according with ASME VIII code for pressure vessels with consideration of requirements of ASME III subsection NB for nuclear class 1 components and ASME II (part A) for materials.
